I have only had my new Tacoma for about two weeks and have been itching to get some dirt on her! I took her up North to Woods Canyon in AZ and found some snow and mud, nothing too serious my wife gets sketchy. I have have had other 4-wheel drives in the past and I gotta say I love this truck.

    Great Pic!
FWTW the stock GY Wrangler Kevlar tires are some of the worst tires I have used in mud/snow/slush conditions. When in doubt, turn off TC and foot to the floor!

Thanks, I agree they aren't the best but at least they aren't the crappy Dunlop street tires that are OEM on my wife's 4Runner. Trying to wear them out and get some KO2's....

Just sold mine on CL yesterday, after I had some Toyo OC AT3's put on with some TRD T4R wheels. They were up for about 1.5 hours before they were sold. I rarely have anything Tacoma related on CL for more than a day.

Ive got the same tires on my sr5 for over a year now, and their excellent in snow, and on slushy roads. They've even been decent in mud...that has a bottom before you start dragging the differentials in it. I had them on my tundra, and they were pretty good. On the tacoma their far better.

You have the FS destinations? I was amazed how well they did in the snow. Didn't even bother picking up spare rims & snows.

Don't get too carried away with those flashy 4 ply "kevlar lined" tires ;)

mine are coming off this week. Cannot wait. Super sketchy on snow/ice and I can feel it.

Never tried the firestones that originally came on the truck. i had bought a new set of goodyear adventure tires from tire rack that i never mounted on the tundra...sold the tundra with the existing goodyears, they were always decent on that truck.

The stock wranglers A/Ts are just fine in the snow; certainly better than the stock all seasons that came on my 2016 SR5. Here are the wranglers driving through 18” of new powder this past weekend. I think people hate on them because they don’t look cool.
