Got any pics of your install/ setup
I'm thinking of getting the taco tunes sub box and a 10w3 and also using the clean sweep

Would you recommend the system. Is it worth the $1500?

I just received my 450q system yesterday from OEM Audio. The outer box was pretty beat up, but after a sneak peak, the inside contents appear to be ok.

I have the box tucked in the bed for now and hope to have time to do the install later this week.

Here are my overall thoughts on the system

Click that link for the detailed, in depth review. I will say this, the more I've listened to the system, the more I appreciate it. The sound quality is top notch and there is no distortion even at the higher volumes - which aren't even needed with the improved sound/loudness of the system. I hate to try to quantify if it's "worth" it, as each person values their audio sound differently than others, and budgets play a factor. Is it an upgrade over the factory setup? Without a doubt. Is it an upgrade over the JBL system? Yes! Substantially at that. Is it worth $1500? I can't answer that for you.

Good luck man, Daniel was great to speak to during my install when I have questions, but if you want you can PM me and I'll give you my cell # if you hit any stumbling blocks and are unable to reach him.

I've been very happy with mine so far. Just the fact that it was all engineered to work together and came with a plug-n-play wiring bundle was significant to me. Time, effort and expertise has value in my book.

How long did it take for them to ship?

Mine took two weeks and one day if I recall correctly. I ordered it at 6 pm though so it was likely two weeks from the time they processed it, haha.

Ugh...my system took about 3 weeks to deliver. It hasn't mattered as it is still all sitting in the box waiting for some free time to install.

I also have a pop & lock to install that I've had for 6 weeks now.

I am saving $$ to purchase this setup also,.... My big concern is whether the dealer would void any warranties with the audio system if they figure this out... I assume I can always unplug the wires and revert back to the factory setup if I ever encounter issues with my head unit that may need work under warranty, and hide the new cables out of site. Any thoughts on this?

    Just plunged as well......
The plug-and-play aspect of the system, with all the + reviews, makes this a no-brainer for me.

How did everything turn out? I'm primarily interested in the sound quality (and if the install is as straightforward as it looks). Thanks in advance!

The install is straight forward. ( you tube )
Sound quality and adjustment from front to rear is not what I expected for the money. Did not receive any communications about a review from them either.

    Thanks Steve,

I had read your comments somewhere else about it sounding really good! (I recall because it was one of the many reviews that influenced my interest in this system). Did something change?

At first it seemed exceptional. Now when I put most of the sound in the rear it doesn't sound as good. Maybe it's just me. Something to verify on your unit after installation.

Why would you put most of the sound in the rear?
