I was thinking the same thing. The rear is just fill. You should have most of your sound coming from the front.

Right on. So how does it sound when everything is centered?
Also is this something you talked to the company about? Are they responsive to this type of feedback?

I ordered mine about a month ago and installed it instantly. The video is amazing in terms of step by step. All speakers were easy and relatively quick to install. The hardest part I had was fishing the connectors to the deck and also getting the power wire to the engine.
As for sound quality, I'm coming from 2 12 type r's in a 4 door sedan. The speaker sound quality is beautiful. I knew getting this system I would not have the bass I've come to know and love but it's enough thump to satisfy me in the cab. The vocals cab be heard loud and clear outside but not the bass which is expected.
Note: if you haven't researched, the amp cannot be adjusted and all controls for bass, mids and highs are only through the deck.
As for customer service, It's bitter sweet for me. I received a discount for living in Canada and have the conversion rate so high. As for customer support, I'd have to say it's not great. I've emailed with no response. Sent a follow up and finally received a response. After the installation was complete I had another question with once again, no response. I've decided to let it go and stop emailing.
The verdict, great sound quality, clear with no distortion. Bass is a little lacking. If it wasn't for the plug and play system, I would have said it's not worth the money but the ease of install (with a few hiccups) makes me satisfied with my purchase.

You are not supposed to listen thru the rear like that. As others said, rear is for fill only, you want the SQ coming from the front, like if you at a concert.

I'm not 100% sure what that system entitles but I have everything from the Factory JBL system minus the amp sitting in my closet and wanting to sell it. I was going to post it on here but it said I needed more post and didn't want to go through and spam post just to do it.
