I want to put carpet in my Weatherguard toolbox and contact cement / glue it down.

What do you recommend for carpet and adhesive for this task? I don't store tools in my tool box, its mostly for extra space when going to range, skeet tournaments, big ass haul at Cabela's :)

I've done a couple of boxes like this and I use double sided tape. I've also used spray adhesive around the edges.

:) You could cut your carpet to fit the tool box floor, then use those carpet non slip pads that they use on wooden floors to hold your carpet. It should hold your carpet in place. Good Luck.
