Looking for ideas to light up my new toolbox. I don't really want to go with battery powered ones. Some of the LED stuff is out of my price range. Would like to know and perhaps see what others have done.

You are correct about not waiting to do a bettery light, they don't hold up. However led rope lighting is the best way to go. Here is the eBay auction number for a 16 foot led rope light 12 volt for 31.99 free shipping. 110883105132. There aren't many other things you can buy and put in it for less then 30 bucks. Hope this helps.
