Never again to the dealership for me, any brand. Left rear wheel fell off at 55 mph, oil cap left off puking oil all over engine bay, gave me a new cap, found first one 2 days later wedged in the alternator belt, front right wheel left loose, thankfully felt it before I left the parking lot, I can go on.....
    Never again. Free or not.

Be glad you found and add a tool to the tool box, things happen.

Service Director called me back, and profusely apologized.
Said I can keep the tool, no need to drive all the way back.

All the usual diesel truck mods- fuel system upgrade, programmer, CAI, intake manifold, 60MM stealth turbo
Found a Mac impact swivel socket still attached to the rear caliper bolt on my wife’s old Jeep Grand Cherokee. I actually returned that one since the dealer was close and felt it could have been very dangerous had it come free and got launched into the windshield of a car behind my wife. I assume The tech got his tool back and sure he got a well deserved shaming. Yes I’ve made mistakes like this in the past but I’ve tried to become more programmatic about accounting for what tools I used.
