I was just wondering what everyone thinks of the tool kit that comes with the 05+ Tacomas that's located under the seat? In my personal opinion I think that it's an okay design but it's not built sturdy enough to last very long. There wouldn't happen to be any sort of TSB out for this would there?

If someone were to come up with a beefier designed spare tire tool kit I would definitely buy it. After only using mine a couple times it seems to me that the setup is flimsy and that the wingnuts don't do a good job at all of holding the pieces together well. I was just wanting the input from you all about this tool kit.

I know the kit works okay it's just that I don't think it's made very sturdy and that when you tighten the wingnuts up they don't do a good job of holding the pieces together very well. Does anyone else agree to this?

Has anyone came up with a beefier solution that mimicks that of the OEM tool kit setup?

I know a person probably won't ever have to use it much but I mean with such a great truck this would be the last thing on the truck that I would think would be made cheap.
