Did this mod a couple weeks ago and it low key might be my favorite mod along with getting a tune. Static bags are perfect, Taylor is great and you are supporting a small business if you go with them. No matter which chalk bag you choose, do this mod for sure. Thanks OP!

Static climbing bags for the win!
Taylor was easy to deal with, responsive and the bags showed up quickly. Quality looks great.
Easy install, no tools. Used bic click pens to hold them in place. Just the pocket clip over the first loop holds them while the rest of the pen body goes through the 2nd loop. Removed the tapered end, spring and ink tube before I installed them.
    Very pleased with the outcome.

How well does the red match the color in you Tacoma? I've done the Red Chrome Delete Kit by Meso, so I'm inclined to go with the red, but I don't want to overdo it. Could you post a wider shot of the cab with them installed? Just trying to get a feel for how they would overall.

I just ordered a red bag myself so I’ll post up a comparison pic.

Make sure you order from her website and email her with your order number if you want any customizations. I'll post her email response to me here so that you guys know what the options are.

"2 single thinner loops (100% mod people choose)

swap out the fleece for a nylon liner (the most popular mod other than the thin loops)

smaller brush loop (to fit a sharpie or pen)

standard size (fits a 32/40oz Hydroflask) or smaller size (fits a normal water bottle) or XL (fits a 64oz hydroflask)

Standard or mirrored (If ordering 2) (have the pen loop face the same side so they mirror when installed)

Patch on the front(normal) or the back or leave it off the bag

Remove the drawstring and grommet or keep as is

Thanks for supporting small businesses like ours, the 3 of us truly appreciate it!!"

Taylor from StaticClimbing was very helpful and responsive. 100% recommend these. It's great not having to chase my water bottle around the cab anymore.

I went a different placement with mine. I didn't really dig it on the console, kind of clattered (with metal bottle). I ran two loops of paracord through the straps and suspended it behind the passenger headrest. Easy to get out, but out of the way, and no clattering. I have a utility cab but this would probably work with a double cab and rear passenger.

    Color is "gunpowder".

Quality is first rate. Taylor missed my email so I got a "stock " one, but that's okay. She offered to make me another one when she found my spammed email, but I wasn't going to have her do that.

I got the standard size. It was big enough to fit my Yeti, and that’s all I needed.

hey 3rd genners! since us first genners dont have enough space in our center consoles to hang a nalgene off of, i threw a chalk bag behind the armrest. simple install in 2 mins; just unscrew the screws, drill holes through the straps, install and screw all back together. great to not have my nalgene jostling all about, and now the negative space behind the arm rest is being put to at least some use in my first gen single cab.

also, agree with everyone that taylor at static is wonderful!
