I did both driver and passenger and wanted a matching trash bin for the passenger headrest so I emailed and asked Taylor to make a chalk bucket and add 2 straps 3" long and 6" apart with a nylon liner.

Have to say it fits exactly how I wanted it too and Taylor was awesome to work with. So that's an option if you want a matching trash/storage bucket behind the front seats.

I was set to order that Static Climbing bag based on all the positive reviews, but my wife got a hold of some duck canvas and made me one that does the job. Thanks to the OP and to Skydvrr for making me aware of this thread. No more runaway water bottles!

well this is an awesome thread, how did I miss it before. I have a few 32 oz simple modern water bottles with flip up straw caps. they always fall over on the passenger seat and leak. they don't fit the cup holders. The static chalk bag should fit nice and keep my bottle upright in place.

I have a couple chalk bags laying around but didn't want to use a good one so I ordered this cheap one: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07R2D4J9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_i_PTB7446QBRQTZJK0ZAAE?psc=1

It's big. Too big for climbing, I think, but swallowed a 2-litre Nalgene with ease. It even has a little pocket on the side that I can tuck receipts or whatever in.

I used an old piece of bike shifter housing and just Gorilla taped it to the the loops to keep it secured.

Great Idea! I ordered 2 Static chalk bags direct, send an email with the order number to Taylor with the "mod list". Got a response back quickly and the order shipped out the next day.

With the "thin loop" mod, I can barely see a gap between the panels. Drive with a bottle under my leg every day and do not feel it.

Though I posted this here, but guess not. This was my "anti-rattle" solution for this mod. Stole one of the Mrs s*bucks thick re-usable straws; cut; melted and squished the ends.

I jumped on the train! Taylor does an amazing job and was super easy to work with. She's the best! I've got one that she custom sized in the passenger foot well and a second in the bed of the truck that is bigger. I keep tools and bike chain lube in there that I need easy access to. I used just half a chopstick to anchor the cab bag and thats working great. Doesn't need to be much really. Love this solution!

Here's my test water bottle holder made of 250d cordura. I tried to keep the material inserted under the trim as thin as possible.

    Trim before:
    PXL_20220112_031042612.jpg

Trim after putting bottle holder in:
    PXL_20220112_035856650.jpg

    PXL_20220112_035927943.jpg

And I put a piece of male Velcro on the bottom to try to keep it from swinging around. Here is it with a couple different large bottles.

I'm gonna see how it goes. Might need to make it a little stiffer. Thanks for the great idea.

I like that you can fold it up to when not in use and I also like that this does not impose on the passenger at all. I have been using this idea in my jeep as well. I didnt realize the additional color options now. Be cool for car companies to incorporate more options like this so cup holders are not such a fixed item and makes space less useable.

That’s very convenient. You’d think by now Toyota would have an option for this

This was one of the first things I did to my new truck and it works perfectly. Taylor was amazing and shipped the same day even with the “Tacoma mods”. I can’t recommend this (or her company) more.

Nice I might do that. I meant I couldn’t see why you wanted a pen next to a water bottle.

I don't use the loop on mine for anything. But you don't really notice it's there. You could probably ask for it to be deleted.

Edit: wait... It's for an overlanding toothbrush holder.

I had Taylor make one in the color for me a few months ago. I got a fuzzy loop fastener instead of a patch and applied my own patch. she was great to work with, excellent product too. keeps my 32oz. bottle from rolling around.

Anyone ordering from static in the near future just know that Taylor is due at any point (if she hasn't given birth already) but she's still making bags fast. I was in no hurry but surprised she made mine the same evening I put my order in. Hopefully y'all can forgive her for any delays, she's great at customer service!
