I have kobalt now, will end up with snap-on sooner or later, i may replace the kobalt with craftsman first though (I like the lifetime warranty).

I worked at a lawnmower shop for a summer, and whenever the snap-on truck would come around, everyone in the shop would flood out to the truck like it was the ice cream truck at a playground, I found it funny and kept working, since I was flat broke anyways

A couple of Stack-On plastic tool boxes.

Tools are mostly Proto that I bought a piece at a time from pawnshops when they have their sidewalk sales. $0.10 here, $0.25 there and before you know it,..you have all socket sizes... :D

I do have some wrenches with brand name "Beta" that were given to me by a couple of Italian contractors when they finished their project at the plant I used to work at. These are very good tools and the metal is so strong that they will break first before they will bend.

And of course,... the Harbor Freight ones....

Don't have a pic of just my tools. But you can see them in the background. I have craftsman. If I could afford snap-on I'd buy twice as much craftsman. Never had problems with them. My box is husky from home depot it was on too good of a sale

snap on, mac, matco, tool box prices are krazy high. its sheet metal bent and painted. the tool box doesn't help you fix anything. my 20 year old mac box still works great

I've got a Snap On box and a bunch of their tools from my days as a front end and brake mechanic years ago and it's good stuff. There are a bunch of other brands I own that are as good or nearly as good - MAC, Matco, Cornwell, and older Proto, Craftsman, and S/K. The MAC offset wrenches are the best of any brand IMO, a real pleasure to use.

The one brand I avoid is Craftsman from the last 15-20 years. Their wrenches and sockets are OK but anything with a moving part is trouble. Had a 3-piece set of their locking pliers that were total crap, jaws misaligned, crap welds, and knuckle busting action. After they replaced them with an equally crappy set they went right in the trash.

As an electrician, most of my tools are Klein and Greenlee. My main socket/wrenches are Crescent, plenty of Harbor Freight stuff. My "tool box" is a huge set of metal drawers... Ghetto but effective
Cordless Power tools are Dewalt 18v and 20v and Milwaukee M12

Craftsman box with Craftsman Professional tools. With a little bit of Snap On mixed in. All air tools are I-R. If I made a living turning wrenches, everything would be Snap On & Ingersol.

Just got this for Christmas. Bottom is 5 drawers and the top can be detached with 6 drawers.

Starting to piece my tool set together now. I've got a lot of pieces if this and that.

Anybody know anything about Husky tools? I'm looking to build a decent size tool collection. But not just mechanic tools. Also needs to be home improvement tools.

    What's everyone's thoughts

I like them and better than harbor freight tools - always good deals at home depot or kobalt brand at lowes
