I see most prefer a tonneau cover but I've personally never been a fan.
    Does anyone run a toolbox?

My last truck had the UWS low profile and I'm considering another for the new truck.

Yes it takes up space but I rarely carry large stuff and if I do I have other options.

I also like this one but doubt it would fit:

I like that one and it's cheap!
I found your pic's. Not sure it would clear my fender wells in the bed. Mine are forward of yours up against the back wall.

There is an enormous thread in the second gen section anout this. Each of tonneau, tool box and canopy top can be perfectly reasonable choices depending on how you use the truck.

Im a toolbox guy myself. The onky reason i would pay extra foe black box would be if i was buying black rims too, my opinion.

The non painted diamond plate reflects heat like a mother fawker.... Sometimes when u need into the toolbox u get a facefull of heat/bright light and its annoying.

I've had silver kobalt, black weathergaurd, and black kobalt.... I'll never own another shiny diamond plate truck toolbox again.

I dont have that problem in Alaska, but it sounds rational to me.
