I don't trust DEET any more, bad experience this summer with 300+ chigger bites. I treat my clothes with permethrin now instead.

I'm in Canada, what's an air conditioner? Does it make the air with this frizzles?

An air conditioner is a device that keeps it 80 instead of 100 and costs thousands to replace when they break. Very over rated. A ceiling fan and a screen door is all anybody needs haha

With temps a couple weeks ago at 106 and 80% humidity.... I'll gladly pay that thousands for 80 degree air.

Is that Celsius? 80 degrees is like 160F, screen door is not going to be much good. Think I'll just stick to the parka and igloo and eating seal fat to keep warm for now.

Fahrenheit. I have experienced 160F. It's as miserable as it sounds. My career path sometimes requires I do attic work.
