Tools for cutting Fenders?

    I use my Milwaukee M12 90° die grinder with a cut off wheel to cut plastic, then a sanding disc to clean up the edge. I use my Ingersoll Rand air body saw for the metal fenders, then use the 90° die grinder with a flap disc to clean up the metal edge.

    I do a lot of these!

    That is some clean work. Do you have more pics of your work or any writeups/tips? I want to do this for some 35's but the idea of cutting my truck worries me.

    I tried using a Dremel on the plastic but little plastic pieces were flying everywhere and it was taking too long on the metal. Ended up using a jigsaw. I use the same blade (fine tooth for metal) on both the metal and plastic. 2” off both. Files them both after with a metal file tool (whatever it’s called). Tried to make it as neat as possible because I don’t want to use the rubber trim. Ended up taking the flares off again to paint them so they’re not faded like in this photo :p

    I just get it from a local automotive store called Lordco. I'm sure NAPA has something similar.
