We use this at work. It's really powerful.

 

My preferred light source while working is a headlamp (Petzl brand preferably). No light to move around and the light is always where I'm looking. The utility and ease of use far outweigh the fact that I look like a coal miner.

 

Just Googled petzl headlamps. Many models - some big $$. Which do you use ? I've been using a streamlight headlamp. Couldn't work w/o it. Thanks for any reply. Always interested in improving working conditions.

 

My 3 are cordless drill, angle grinder, rachet/socket set

 

I have a very basic tikka that I bought 5 or 6 years ago and it still works great. I have a tikka with white and red light that was for work use, but that is overkill for auto work. I have seen guys with some good ones made by energizer that performed in some crappy conditions. I would venture a guess that they are more conservatively priced.
