    !. Urban Cowboy (great soundtrack)
    2. Excalibur - (gave way to my online handle...eXcalis)
    3. The Crow - (great soundtrack as well)

Just movies that I would watch alot, doesn't mean they ARE the best movies out there, just that I have watched these quite a bit. There are better movies out there, these are just my favs.

    :)

Here's my first 3 off the top of my head...
    1.) First Blood
    2.) Predator I
    3.) Die Hard I

...then I got to thinking of Tom Clancy movies like Hunt for Red October, Clear & Present Danger, Patriot Games, then Top Gun, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Terminator, Shawshank Redemption, Enemy of the State, The Firm, Narrow Margin, and all 3 Bourne Identity movies and yes, even Pretty Woman will make it on my favorites list. This is too hard to narrow down to only 3.

Oh, man, hmmm, that was big, as far as action. I think T2 was actually better. And what about The Road Warrior? And Mad Max (but don't mention that steaming turd Thunderdome).

This really needs to be best three movies per genre. I just can't color inside these lines. But even then I'd have to subdivide among war, like WWII, Viet Nam, etc., and even under WWII, you'd have to split it up by what, theater? Specific campaign? Branch of service?

if those are you 3 favorite movies of all time, good for you, but lets be honest, they aren't well acted, lack a good story/plot, and are aimed at the kiddie crowd.
