    Clarkson's contract expires at the end of the month and Hammond and James were supposedly in the final stages of negotiating a 3 year extension and were due to sign it soon. Well at least before all this happened.

    The season previews showed them racing against Top Gear USA too, I was looking forward to that. Maybe the US version will air it as well. Even though it's not nearly as good as the UK version I still watch Top Gear USA and enjoy it.

    As much as I enjoy Top Gear I think Jeremy is an arrogant ass. But, since I don't have to deal with that side of him behind the scenes, I would be in favor of them continueing the series. He surely is a very important part of the show and it would not be the same without him.

    The biggest issue is that he and Andy Williams are co creators, I not sure that the BBC can continue the show with out him onboard. It would be awful to try and do the show without all three hosts. Does anyone remember the first season of the new top gear when it was Clarkson, Hammond, and some other guy? It wasn't as good till they got the balance right and added May.
