Top hat change

i was curious as to if you could change the top hat on tundra coilovers to fit my 2nd gen Tacoma is this possible???

 

It can be done, however the upper mount is not the only difference between the 2 platforms. The 05+ Tacoma and 07+ Tundra are not compatible with one another. Shock length, spring rate, valving, bolt diameter, hiem spacers.... ect.

Tundra to Tacoma (or vise versa) can be done on First Gen's 96-04 Tacoma's & the 02-06 Tundra with far less parts, which will explain why that may pop up as an option when searching the inter-web.

 

Makes sense, thank you for the clarity I saw like you said the first gens being compatible didn’t know if it was as easy as the first gen with the second gen
