SSO slimline. I've also heard talk of an aluminum option coming out, for even greater weight savings.

Have you decided on one yet?

I've been between the Honey Badger, Dissent Offroad, CBI, and Demelo bumpers. Currently leaning towards either Dissent or Honey Badger. That's 52 lbs aluminum vs 80 pounds steel.

I'm upgrading shocks so I'd be ok with the 28 extra pounds. Can't decide.

The more I look the more I keep coming back to this bumper. I know there are parts of my bumper that have to be cut but is it pretty evident or are the instructions pretty clear on what/where to cut? I paid a bunch for my 18OR and cutting on it does scare me a bit.

It's really not much cutting and the cutting is more stressful than difficult. Definitely DON'T follow the SSO instructions. Instead, follow the guidelines of @Hodakaguy. He spells out the process very well in the thread below. I personally cut as little as possible and just test fitted over and over as I cut more and more away.

    Good luck with your decision.

FYI... Shipping might be prohibitive, but you don't have to wait.

Ah man many thanks! That’s a great deal and I’m just now hitting the install thread that you linked to.

Should be released in steel and aluminum this week. Light cutouts are optional. 42lbs in aluminum and 110 lbs in steel. IMG_1890.jpgIMG_1869.jpgIMG_1877.jpg

Been thinking about the slimline bumpers. Victory has my eye currently. I don't mind cutting things, just not so sure about all this that need the factory one hacked to high hell.

    Like, so many.
Another vote for the SSO (I went with no cutouts).
