    Page 21 is pretty modern.

I think it's genius. If you can't afford, want less weight, don't need and/or like the look, this is perfect. You could buy two sets really for less than a decent set of real ones. I'll guess the profit for the company is probably better than the big shops.

They go great with rep wheels and faux grilles? Is this a trick question?

Do you thinks everybody rock crawls and runs trails? Most people are more than fine with the ground clearance of a Camry..

You know, I already wish there was a dislike button on this forum, because Superdavedick would be getting a few from me here.

Thanks for asking the question, @op. Not everyone lives outside Moab and needs the real deal. I was eyeballing these same ones and had been wondering if anyone had given them a shot yet. Love the look and sure, would love real rock sliders more, but they're significantly more expensive. Not to mention that these could be removed before any serious off-roading just like any other side step.

Looking at a pair of these currently. Anybody have any major issues with them? Planning on only using these for the step feature for the short girlfriend.

I believe the third comment or so is a link to a thread where a guy bought them. He just recently installed them, but he’s got pics and whatnot. But yeah! I crawl around the woods, not up and down mountains. And if I can sell my oem steps to somebody local, I can just about cover the cost of the knockoff sliders. Seriously considering it.

I hear you. Hey, do your thing.

i think they look cool. Cheaper than sliders too. I bet 70-80% of the dudes with sliders on their vehicle will never even use them.

I don't understand why you'd want "rock sliders" that are cheap and don't protect you like they are supposed to.

could you not get something that is a step and does the same thing? I tell people that are new and getting into this, regarding spacer lifts and body/engine protection- those 2 things are the most expensive to fix. Why would you want to cheap out on that? You bought a $40k+ truck, why would you want to put a $50 "lift kit" and have a crappy ride or break something else that didnt need to get broken, if you had spent a little more. You don't need to get the best of the best, but please dont get cheap rock sliders or lifts.

Just some words of advice. Im also not claiming to know everything.
