Topper Camper (AT Atlas, Project M, etc.)

Anybody near KC have an "AT Atlas" I can drive by and see?

I'm looking at some of those "topper" camper things. The spartan ones like the AT Atlas.

Wanting something I can put on my Taco that won't weigh it down too much. But, will let me go on rough roads, etc.--and set up camp in the winter in just a few minutes (rather than screwing with setting up a tent and trying to beat stakes into frozen ground). Any experience with them??

Also--what about "power options" to let me have some 12 vdc (fan, lights, phone charger) and an inverter for my laptop, etc. Maybe, down the road, a powered cooler, etc.

I'm also kinda curious how they hold up (unpainted aluminum, the canvas, the windows, etc.). Do they hold together well (the bed, doors, windows, etc.)??

And, how do they do if you head across 4WD road and toss them around AF bouncing over rocks and stuff?

I had been looking at the Project M, but it sounds like the Atlas is built better.

Thoughts?
