Looking at options for a bed cap for hauling gear and camping. I like the AT Habitat and Iggy's version (which isn't out yet) but I won't be used exclusively for camping so doin't want to dedicate it to that 100%. I found the Topper EZ Lift and a member here has it (Denver2890's Weekend Warrior Build) but he hasn't been on here for a couple of years now to ask him how he likes it after a longer period of time using it.

Anyone else here using the Topper EZ Lift (https://www.topperezlift.com/) and give some feedback on it?

I am considering this as well. Will keep you updated if I go this route. I live in MN where they are made.

I just ordered one with the weekend camper package. The thing looks awesome! Anyone else using one?

We are in the process of finishing a GMC Denali equipped with one of these at the shop where I work. It is pretty wild. I don't have any pictures of it on my phone though.

Their prices are insane. Expect water (rain/snow) to leak in where the fabric is velcroed to the bedsides (ie. all along the perimeter) as that's not even remotely waterproof. Additionally, the frequent raising/lowering of the canopy itself is bound to wear out the seal between the canopy and the bed, which will add even more leaks into the bed.

It's a cool idea, but has too many downsides.

I was actually talking to the manufacturer over the last week, trying to get a quote to purchase just the tailgate end of the fabric (for a custom setup). Their communication is atrocious (3-4 days to reply, and each reply is half a sentence), and if that's how they represent themselves during pre sales, you can bet their customer service post sale will be even worse. I would never buy from a company like that.

Tell us how you really feel! Jeesh.

For my needs, this is exactly what I'm looking for. I spoke with the owner directly and he seems like a great guy. Excited to try this thing out!
