I think my topper makes my truck look good. Love that it locks and the roof racks are nice to have on it for Kayaks. Great to sleep in for camping with an air mattress!

Owned many trucks and this is my 1st with a shell(came with it).

I think it looks OK being color matched and tinted but it is very usefull for me as reg cab has no room for gear and it keeps everything dry in the winter.

My drivers side has a "win-door" and I love that easy access to the box.

I plan on getting a cap, when I get my new truck. Be retiring and want to fish a lot of pa trout streams. Mostly for security when sleeping.

I love our trucks with shells, certain ones dont look good to me but if it is a nice clean one that flows with the body I like it. I plan to use mine for weekend trail riding and just camping in general when I make my setup but for now I just have a sleeping bag and air mattress back there for now and sleep there if I get hammered at a friends and he runs out of places to crash......lol

I don't like the look of a tacoma with a topper as much as without one, but they do serve a purpose, which is what matters most anyway

Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
I was lucky enough to find my cap for only $40!! and I'v loved it! extremely useful for my lifestyle.
but it just failed the recall and I was upset at first that I wouldn't have the utility of the cap with my next truck..

until I found my new one!!!!:bananadance:

I pulled off the Thule track from the old cap before I gave it back to Toyota and it will soon be on the new one. I'm stoked :)

I love my Snugtop shell. Keeps all my stuff dry and out of sight. And I can sleep back there in a pinch which is pretty cool.

No hard cap for me. I like having an open bed. But I do have a Softopper which I use about every other weekend. Takes less than 10 minutes to put up or take down, and I use it as my tent for camping.

I love having a topper and wouldn't be without one. Besides, my dog would be pissed if I got rid of it. I thought I would mostly use mine during hunting season and for camping, but since putting it on, I haven't had a reason to take it off.

Like the aesthetics of em but I would never pat $1500-$2000 for one. They limit the load height carrying ability. My Undercover gives the best of both worlds sans about 18-24" inches of covered height, and far far less weight to drag around empty. The double cab back takes care of the higher stuff I need covered,
