    Ok! Just checking!

I can't count the number of posts I've seen where people seemed to think we had a metal bed and the "composite bed" meant it was something like a spray on or plastic drop in liner.

Well you can count me among those people. I'm new to all this truck stuff. :DIt's my first truck and my parents never had one either.

But that's why I'm here. I like to have a clue if I can.

 That's why I posted up. :D Take a look under the rear wheel wells. You'll see the ribs under the bed. That's what gives it strength! No metal bracing on these beds! Unless you count the tie down rails at the top of the bed sides.

I had to drill through mine for a previous cover's drain tubes so I know it's like drilling/cutting fiberglass.

Theres your answer, STAY AWAY FROM LEER! I would not cut your liner!

Other brands you do not have to cut the bed composite (liner).
And if you do not have a local shop, you can go to other companies websites (such as A.R.E.) and they will have a store locator on their website. Or in some cases, you may be able to order direct and install yourself.

You probably don't really need to cut anything. How much you wanna bet the people trying to sell the cap don't have a clue about the truck and think it's an over-the-rail plastic liner (which WOULD need to be cut)? Those have to be cut to fit the clamps through a hole to reach the bed rail. Our trucks have the tie down rail and any cap, tonneau cover or canopy should have clamps designed to fit inside that rail system. Since our truck is one of the few models that is setup this way, most people don't know that.
