Actually iv changed my mind. Its either the KM2's or the nitto trail grapplers. 285/75R16. Those should fit with my OME suspension with maybe some minor trimming.

I had a chance to test the MTRs. Discount tire accidently put a set on my 2009 Preunner. I ordered Duratracs. I was watching them and thought the tires looked a little aggressive. I drove off and the next day they called and told me what they did. I was headed down to the ranch and they actually found a defect on one the Duratracs so I got to keep the MTRs for awhile. They said to run them as long as I wanted and if I liked them to just keep them. If I had a 4x4 and did a lot of offroading I would have. They are a bit noisy and ride a little rough but I am not sure you can by a tougher tire. I put them through hell on the ranch and just ignored rocks and cactus and such that i would normally avoid. They did not have a scratch on them when I took them back. I did noot get to test in the mud but I have run some aggressive mud tires and these looked like they would do as well as anyhing I have run.

I decided to go with the Mickey T baja claw ttc. Hope they're up to my expectations. I hear they're great in the snow which is what i need.

 Always liked the look of the claw! Let us know in about a year or so how they hold up to highway miles / daily driving. I'm just curious to what kind of mileage a Tacoma can get out of em. ;)

I had buddies with Claws and they were a decent all rounder type of tire but hard to justify the price. Keep us posted though as I have never been around the TTC ones.

Hands down I would take the Goodyear MTR's. I've seen too many people take out KM2 sidewalls now, myself included...

Username killed a whole set of KM2's and has since switched to Goodyears and has done so well with them he is going to stop carrying 2 spares.

Put the new shoes on today and did the cab mount chop. Mickey T's Baja Claw TTC 285/75R16. No rubbing so far.

Well having had both the KM2's and the MTR's...my vote goes towards the MTR's.

MTR's all the way! My KM2's do nice in the mud and rocks, but the sidewalls cut up easy and I've killed one tire already. Another guy on here has killed 8 of them and switched over and has yet to kill one. He's done so well now that he is stopped carrying one of his spares. I know of another guy that recently killed one of his sidewalls in Moab.

My next set of tires is going to be MTR's for sure!

Edit: Just realized I posted twice in this... haha

I've had both on my FX4 Ranger and the MTR's are 10x better. It would go through everything I could throw at it...Georgia red gumbo clay rolling over the hood and everything.

Well i needed something that was going to do well in the snow and wet conditions living in NH and all. After all the reviews i read i figured the mickey t's were my best bet cuz of the tred pattern and minor siping. And no they're not to loud. Suprisingly quiet actually.

They all are when you first put them on. Update us in about 5k miles.

Good looking rig you got but do something bout the eye sore weights they hammered to the outside of your wheels.
