Hey everyone, my name is Arthur, I'm from Vancouver BC. Well I'm actually from Surrey but it's a lot easier to tell everyone your from Vancouver Canada. Anyways, currently I drive a BMW 328i X-Drive. It was excellent when me and my wife we're just married. Then my son was born and it was still just fine. 2 years later my daughter was born. Now the back seats are filled with the kids, and we have basically no room for much in the trunk. So here comes the search for a pickup truck. I didn't want a one ton and I think the Tacoma is more then the right choice.

I would like to get a TRD-OFF Road 6 speed double cab but apparently we have to special order those in Canada. So I have to wait and see what the dealership says on Monday. I'm super pumped and excited. I just hope everything goes well with my trade in and I can walk away with a taco.

I guess my only problem now will be with modifications. Before my 328i, I had a Subaru STI and made the decision to basically leave nothing stock haha. I went a little mod crazy and since I can see so much potential with Tacoma's, I wonder how long it's going to be before I touch it lol

I am just confused weather I should go for the 6 foot bed or the 5 foot bed. If it's just based on looks, I love the 5 foot bed with the off road 6 speed package. Any tips or pointers here guys. I will be off-roading that's for sure too.

Anyways, cheer and all the best. I'm excited to be part of the forum and to learn as much as I can. Merry Christmas and I hope I can be driving a new Tacoma in the new year.
