So I got to meet the owner of Toro Offroad and take a lot of pictures of the tents. Very nice tent. Lots of accessories. My personal concern would be mattress thickness, but that’s easily remedied.

Do those ladder feet tilt based on how its setup? So the part your standing on is pretty much horizontal, not angled if you have the ladder out a bit?

Is that bag of stuff by the wheel the hanging accessory bags?

 

The ladder feet do not tilt to be flat.

The bags of stuff are the annex room and awning and thermal insulation. All included with the price.

 

Long story short, but buyer beware. Complaint filed with BBB, refund granted via PayPal. Corey and those from his company have horrible customer service, do not respond to emails, calls, messenger, etc. I have called, emailed over 10 times now, messaged through facebook, instagram, and their chat feature on their website. After only one reply of "your tent is coming, I will be in touch in a week or so"...then radio silence, I filed a dispute with Paypal. Thankful for PayPal and a quick resolution...Torro Offroad did not even respond to PayPal when they opened the case for dispute. I don't mind waiting for the right tent...but I do not like complete lack of communication or transparency when it comes to fulfilling a $3298 order. Research shows they have a long history of poor customer service...so, just do your homework before committing to purchase from Corey and Torro Offroad. Corey was informed in the one email he responded to that I would be sharing this experience with him publicly, so this is not a surprise to him or his company.

 

Dang. I decided not to associate with Toro right after I met Corey. He seems nice, but has a lot on his plate and is worried about the $$ over anything else. I wish them the best.
