    Hi all,
I've installed a winch mount (from Amp'd Up) for the front of my 2003 Taco, but I cannot for the life of me find the torque specs for the 6 bolts that held in the crossmember (which was removed) that are now holding the winch mount.

Theres 2 sets on the bottom, which are 17mm bolts with a number 8 on the head (they held the rings which i removed, and the tow hook, and two which held the crossmember on.

JIS spec M12 would have a 17mm head on it which I'm betting is what is meant by 17mm.

Per the FSM, a bolt with a 8 on the head is class 8T. Assuming those are 17mm heads and the bolts themselves are M12 flange head as appears to be the case, the standard torque for those bolts in the FSM is 90ft-lbf. It's possible that one of my assumptions regarding the bolts themselves is incorrect, or those bolts for some reason aren't meant to be torqued to the standard specs, but 90 seems reasonable.

Yes, the head is 17mm. They are not flange bolts however, they have washers. IDK if that makes a difference or not, but figured I'd throw that out there. TY!

The standard (No flange) blot torque spec is 80ft-lbf.
