Does anyone have any tips on properly torquing your UCA long bolt to spec while truck is on the ground in the proper position? Short on clearance between fender and tire. If I am not mistaken it needs to be in its ride height position for proper articulation?

Yes, I just double wrench, or use a really long wrench it while its sitting as tight as I can go, then again after test driving.

Jack under the lca enough to take the truck off the stand under the frame. Then torque.

The clearance prevents the torque wrench or any wrench from resetting the ratcheting mechanism, even if I add a cheater bar/extension it doesn’t do me any good. If that makes sense?

It can help to turn the wheels to full lock. You'll gain a slight bit of clearance.

I'm able to do it with wheels on the ground, but this idea above should get the OP close enough.

85 ft lb for the UCA bolt.
