Easier to not part out. Someone would get a nice deal for the pair. Extended travel Kings for 1000 firm as well

Your extended length shocks are going to bind under compression from those super long rod ends running into the shock body before the bump stops can do their job.

Regardless of what the websites say, you’ll have to limit up travel on either kit if trying to retain your OEM length replacement shocks. Seems impractical and could damage the coil overs. Might run into other less obvious headaches as well.

Wasn’t planning on off-roading till I could get the correct shocks. I understand the way a shock works it wouldn’t “bind” just run out of uptravel.

As hawk said though, you could chance and warp things that you werent expecting with that set up. Not saying as long as you are a street queen for a while that you cant do it, but I would def research intimately with all the component manufacturers and verify their thoughts before chancing your rig.

Would suck to ding a vital part due to not waiting and doing it right especially if you didnt even see it coming.

We do not recommend using Extended Travel Shocks with our Long Travel Systems

The ride quality will be poor and most likely you will damage the shocks very quickly. I'd recommend waiting and installing everything at once.

Can confirm the quality and attention to detail. When I unboxed my 3.5 LCA’s I was really impressed. Super beefy
