The pic I posted is of Cali Raised stiffeners. Here's a pic of T/C stiffeners. If the Drawers clear the Cali's they'll clear anything. Notice the relation of the LARGE bed bolts to the outer edge of the drawers.......20191006_154411.jpg

Adding just that sentence to the 1st post would of been better…
I can’t say I haven’t replied like that, in a snarky type of way but I have been forcing myself to just ignore the more/most lazy of posters as best I can. I’ll actually write my reply, read it and just not post it- so that’s trying right

I thought it was pretty clear without the additional explanation... but hey, maybe we were in a different headspace. At least you gave a data point. Otherwise, no one would have answered.

$170 for 6 tie down points. Since you have the D rings you already had 2, so make that $170 for 4 tie down points.
It being not boxed means it's not that strong right? Take $20 to home depot for some angle iron. You can even double up. They can even be "easily removable" for free! Lol
Or, give your friend $50. Let that friend kick you in the nutz and don't forget to thank them for doing it. You then have the rest of the day to think about what you're gonna do with the $120 plus tax and shipping you just saved.

You clearly haven't looked at the TTC ones, mate. 8 tie downs, horizontal mounting points for antennas, whip lights etc, plus they're angled to follow the entire bed channel, not just a 90 degree turn at the bottom.

And you buy when all sale

Most of the bed drawer systems have different clearances so YMMV. We are running a Front Runner system in one of our shop trucks and it did require a slight modification to the bed stiffener. As others posted the bed drawers you have in your truck may require the same mod (slight grind and paint).

Laugh or don't laugh at my post. But don't come back with that weak response, it makes you sound like a fanboy. "One of the best investment so far!", that truck bed is so clean they can eat out of it. Hardly used as a truck. I bet the bed of the truck still looks like that, lol

Yup, super clean. Spent all weekend wheeling

Wasn't trying to mock you, mate. Just pointing a few things out that your post missed. All good.

I wasn't able to get mine back on with the Bed stiffener in there, but I may relocate them to the front for more options.
Remember, the bed stiffener offers 8 additional tie down points in lieu of the D-rings being moved.

This is actually the first time I’ve heard of bed stiffeners. The reasoning behind it seems logical especially knowing their built a lot lighter now than before. I guess it might be good to have if your snug topping or overlanding your truck.

The bolt that held it on runs too close to the reinforced upper part of the bed stiffener, so the D-ring base wont fit without cutting/grinding it.

You might be able to run it through the next bolt and have it fit just fine. I didn't try that... :anonymous:

We were in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Tons of people from all over the midwest and eastern half ( Jersey, Ohio, Florida, all of Appalachia) Shamrock Shakedown. You'll have to tag in and show up for next year's event!

In the meantime, Labor Day weekend is Appalachian Toyota Roundup, at the same location, Windrock Off Road Park.

I'm just right below TN in Bama, so those trips could definitely be doable! Hope to see you on the trails!

    Laugh!

I’m having a hard time seeing how the reply was fanboy material… literally he just explained the specs and that was it. What you mad at bro?
Sure, it’s expensive for what it is if you pay full retail… but I’m sure as hell not going to Jerry rig some angle iron to my truck especially just to save a few bucks. I’d go without before I did something like that. Actually I’d learn to weld if I was going the diy route.

but the most important question is, why do you care what others spend their money on?

One of our Bama forumites was there this weekend and unfortunately, did some pretty extensive damage to his truck. I would love to come check that place out when it's dry and see what it's like, a lot of folks say it's one their favorite places to wheel.

    What was he driving?

Wet is where it's at. Sliding, mud slinging, clayed up, and most importantly.... NO DUST

And your truck looks like it could have handled a ton of the trails out there
