This really isn’t the place for that. I’d recommend starting your own thread in the for sale section

Bump. I can usually weld spindles up while you wait on weeknights and some weekends for the guys bringing me their own set to gusset.

    Another set headed out

Clean welds there! :) Has anyone had any issues with the gussets cracking? Someone pointed out since the metal welded to the cast factory sometimes the molecules and temperature etc don't really match up well and with time causes the gusset weld to crack. This is for sure a cheaper way than going with full after market welded spindle but wonder on longevity and strength of the set up.

Their have been zero spindle failures on spindles I’ve gusseted. The issues you are referring to are with the first version of spindle gussets, the “non sway bar” gussets. For the most part I have stuck to using the newest “sway bar” version of the gussets as I feel that they are much stronger while the only downside being the need to run aftermarket wheels or a wheel spacer. I have only done the “non sway bar” gussets for guys who could give me a good reason for why they needed to run them over the “sway bar” version or for guys who already possessed that style gusset and we’re providing them.

When it comes to the spindles I have gusseted using the “non sway bar” gussets I have always added an extra gusset that I make to the kit. It ties into the tie rod location and adds strength to the point at which others have had failures in their gusseted spindles. Mine have held together great and once a few users had problems with their gusseted spindles failing (not spindles I worked on) I added another additional gusset to them to further strengthen them. I will include pictures to show what I do differently when using the “non sway bar” style gusset.

As far as the “sway bar” style gusseted spindles go, I have done over 100 sets in the last 3 years and never had a failure or spindle bend post gusset installation.

This is a pic of a set of spindles that someone else welded up, I stole the pic from google. This is how total chaos intended them to be installed

This is one of the earlier sets I did using the “non sway bar” kit. You can see the addition of the tie rod gusset.

This is the way I’ve done every set of this style gusset since some guys had failures associated with this style gusset installed by other fabricators.

Any idea what a new stock set cost? I have been trying to find a good used set to send to you?
