Total chaos gusseted spindles

(FWIW, I cleaned mine up with a wire brush, 400 wet sand on the machined flat parts, Brillo pad with soap and water, acetone, rubbing alcohol, painters tape, self etching primer, enamel finish)

What do you guys mean when you say “core”

 

He will send you spindles that are fully welded and you send yours back to him once you complete the install

 

core charge. Meaning you’ll pay a refundable amount that you’ll get back when you send him the spindles you take off when installing the new gusseted ones.

 

No yea I got that part for the swap. But is “core” a code word or something.

That's exactly it.

 

Sorry I forgot exactly how he does it. The $175 is for the gussets and welding labor. He asks you to send him your takeoff spindles which will eventually becomes the next customers gusseted ones.

 

Jason checks the tolerances of all the returned cores before refunding the core charge. He asks that the cores are returned within 30 days of receiving the gusseted spindles.

Can you do double shear steering tabs, too?

 

Just got mine in the mail today. Thank you so much @glorifiedwelder for providing this service. In other news - I am BLOWN away by this steel it stuff. Never used it before & I'm really impressed so far.
