I am making both versions. Spindles set up for a ball joint uca do require some modifications during the gusseting process so I will need to know it's for bj uppers prior to building. As far as the core deposit goes, that cost varries due to market costs on cores I purchase. You can pm me with any questions reguarding that

OK great, It will be a couple of weeks, but I have some front end work planned. I'll do this all at the same time. Never had a spindle issue, but they look, well... spindly

I've never been a big fan of the non-swaybar gussets but have offered them with an added gusset when the buyer was unable to run the swaybar version. I generally keep a few sets of gusseted spindles in stock and ready to ship as soon as the order comes in. I had this set spindles sitting on my shelf and decided to add an internal gusset to it to help strengthen the failure point

Looking at ordering a set of these gusseted spindles with the sway bar attachment , but anyone know if I will have clearance issues with 285's on 18" rims with 0 offset and 5" backspacing?

    Thanks

My unofficial answer would be that they should clear. Looking at my truck and another at the shop running 17" wheels with 4.75" of backspacing both running 285 tires (one 285/75/17 the other 285/70/17). Both have 5/8 to 3/4" clearance off the spindle. Your trucks wheel will sit 1/4" farther inward but 1/2" higher up the spindle which takers inward. They should clear with somewhere around 3/8-1/2" clearance

Thank you for taking the time to look into this for me and looks like I'll be ordering a set from you here very soon! Have plans on updating front and rear suspension to Icon's and need to narrow what days I can take work off for this so I can send you my stock spindles back to you in a timely manner.

Will these work with 16" wheels with 4.5" BS? 265/75/16 tires.

Are you going to be adding this to all? Do you know if the 2nd/3rd gen spindles are the same?

Not sure how many more of the non sway bar gussets I'll do, but all will have the old gussets I've always added with the option of adding the new gussets

Yes the spindles are the same between 2nd and 3rd gen

4x2 and 4x4 spindles are the same, right? Thinking of picking up a used set so my truck wont be out of commission.

Yes they are the same. Most of the gusseted spindles I sell are done on a core exchange
