That makes sense about the center line.
So everyone online says the stock oem steel spare wheels are 4.5” and I just couldn’t accept it. Simple measurement tells me 5”. I’m on the hunt for new wheels.
Running 4.5" would give me an extra half inch of clearance at the shock. You're saying you rub a little. Should I go 4" with 1.25" spacer I have rn?
I dont want it to get out of control lol

I believe my method NV's are 4.5'' back spacing, and I'm running 1.25'' spacers. You'd have plenty of clearance with with a 4'' backspaced wheel and 1.25'' spacer. If I were going with a 4'' backspaced wheel, I would probably go for just a 1'' spacer. That would give you a little more spacing than I have, which would be good to help eliminate some of the rubbing on your piggyback.

Right on brother I appreciate the feedback. Might try to hunt down someone local with 4 and 4.5 backspace for test fit.
I think going with 4" is safer, so then I can adjust my spacer instead of getting new wheels-again lol

Just got off the phone with Dustin from FN wheels.
    Amazing guy.
    EDIT:
I converted all the text to a chart. I already own 1.0 and 1.25" spacers. I will most likely go with 3.5" BS wheel, and buy .75" spacers.
I think I need at least an extra inch of clearance.

Existing gap is defined as gap between shock and wheel.

ha touche.. still likely grab that wrench. that video was proper. I bought an even cheaper one in a pinch when I had to do some axle work so its still a step up.

I've had the Icon wrench for a while now and am very happy with it. That video helped seal the deal. If you're not in a hurry to get it right now I've seen them have 20% sales on Icon tools every couple of months.

It's a test. Like any other, it simply provides results.
