Hello..I'm looking to buy a set of stock length lowers for my 2018 Tacoma. Current set up is King 3.0 coilovers with TC UCA's. Im running 17"x9" -18 offset. Could you tell me what the key differences between the standard and the race are or maybe direct me to where I could find a comparison?

    Thanks much

Key difference is the Race Series has the Uniball built into the arm. The standard uses an adapter and is single shock only.
Because of the builtin uniball the race series gives you more ground clearance.

The standard also has a 1/4 inch steel skid plate built into the control arm.

Great thanks for the clarification probably going with the race series.

So these are quite spendy. So if I get stock replacment and I already have the TC UCA does that equal a +1 kit? If so should the CVs be replaced like with the +2 and 3.5 kit?
I'm still torn between the stock replacment and the +2 kit. Obviously both good choices but damn so many variables.

TOTAL CHAOS Stock Length Lowers don't offer any additional width over stock. Some Race Series offerings do require wheel spacers which space out the wheel 1.25" on each side. This isn't the same as our Long Travel Systems.

Our +2" and +3.5" Long Travel Systems use completely different UCAs and LCAs. These also require extended axles for maintaining 4x4 where the Stock Length Lowers do not. You're good-to-go with the stock CVs and stock length lowers.

So I'm stuck between the single race and the standard. I know the standard LCAs have a little less ground clearance than the race model, but how do they stack in relation to the OEM arms?

Also, I see something in the instructions talking about chopping the steering arm tabs? Is this needed for the standard and single shock race series, or just the dual shock model (which I saw the install notes for)?

I know its needed for the race series regardless of being single or dual shock.

The install instructions for the standard arms don't mention needing to remove the steering stops.

This is what it looks like with the steering stop removed from the stock lower ball joint adapter

The standard ground clearance will be similar to factory.
As stated above me by @oni06 , trimming the steering stops is a requirement on ALL Race Series LCAs. It is NOT a requirement on the standard LCA.

Are stock length compatible with the new King 3.0's for tacoma? Do the LT +2 work with those as well?

We aren't aware of any potential interference with aftermarket calipers. If we hear otherwise, we will post up

I am almost certain that this has already been answered but I couldn't find it. I'm running ICON extended travel coilovers in the front. Would the stock length work with it? And would adding your UCA and LCA give me more travel?

    Thanks.
