    Stock length arms.

Mid travel can sometimes be considered a +2. These are just the stock length

Ok gotcha. But you couldnt use extended coilovers (midtravel) on a +2 kit right? They'd be too short? What all are the benefits of an aftermarket true mid travel lca

Strength and ground clearance for these LCAs. And the ability to add a second shock.

    A thing or two...
Mid-travel is +0 (stock width). The + value of a LT kit refers to the added trackwidth per side.

I believe that the TC LT kits use the standard King Tacoma coilovers, or at least I've never seen any marketed as being for the TC LT kits. The Baja Kits LT kit can use the standard King Tacoma coilovers, but you loose some travel. The extended King Tacoma coilovers have the same external dimensions as the non-extended version. They just have a thinner internal spacer that gives them an extra inch of extension.

Tell that to other LT companies who consider +2 as mid travel.

30k miles max on the Lowers.

Hmm ok i was under the impression that, for instance, my king extended travel coilovers could only be used as mid travel and any lt kit would need a longer coilover. I think i understand that theyd be lacking in a 3.5 kit but you're saying they'd work just fine in a +2 setup? Thanks

They would "work" but would limit your travel. I wouldn't recommend it but in a pinch they wouldn't explode if you went that way.

Most, if not all LT kit manufacturers have a specific shock designed to work with their LT kit. If you try to put a standard CO shock on a LT kit and off-road with it you're going to destroy something. The King specific shock for TC kits on 2nd gens is TC5119-03, they are 8" travel shocks.

I've read the same thing about Bajakits, I'll be interested to see the first clown to try to take one of their kits off-road with a stock length shock, break something and try to make a warranty claim.

No, they won't unless you never take your truck off pavement. TC uses a specific 8" travel shock for their kits. Both kits use the same shock.

Since there seems to be confusion about it, here are the terms getting confused:

    Stock Travel

    Extended Travel

    Long Travel

People seem to confuse Extended travel and long travel, extended travel is a stock travel shock that has the internal spacer removed allowing for slightly more travel with aftermarket UCAs. That is NOT the same thing as a Long Travel shock.

Sorry about shitting up your "for sale" post, just trying to clear up people's misinformation.

    Free bump. :p

I think it's safe to say that this is strictly a mid travel kit. You can send in your oem kings to baja kits to get it converted for about $400 but you would be limited to about 9.5 inches on their 2+ kit instead of the standard 11 inches of travel that many would expect. Keep in mind baja kits is also the only one I believe who has this converted oem shock option.

To play it safe and not break things like others suggest, I would only use this for mt applications.
