Are my eyes playing a trick on me or are the uniballs welded INTO the arms basically making it impossible to replace them if/when they are worn out if they aren't already?

Doesn’t look welded maybe around it but not on the uniball

No no, it's definitely welded. The bottom of the uniball cup that is supposed to be retaining the uniball with a c clip is instead being retained by a complete weld on the uniball/cup. The top of the uniball is retained with 4 short welded beads.

Basically, to replace the uniballs, you'd need to spend a couple of hours carefully and meticulously grinding away the welds as to not damage the uniball cup. Even then you might find that the uniball cup is damaged and the only way to retain a new uniball replacement would be to weld it in place again.

To OP, why the welds? Did the c clips not do their job? and if they didn't, did you try replacing the c clips or why the escalation to welding them permanently in place?

Also OP, why does it look like the bottom misaligment spacers (circled in red) have been cut in half?

And what is this right here (circled in yellow)? It doesn't look like the the balljoint adapter that I've seen before. Do you have a photo of them mounted up on your truck?

They're missing the part you press into the spindle, you'll need to source some of them too
