A few weeks ago I was driving on the interstate at 70 MPH and experienced a loss of power. I was able to coast to an exit and then roll about 5 MPH into a parking lot.

A few minutes later, she fired right up and experienced no issues until yesterday. Yesterday, I drove less than a mile at 30 MPH and it happened again. I waited and tried to restart several times, but no luck. I left it at a park over night because I couldn't get up the hill to my house. I went up there this morning and it drove fine.

    Symptoms:
    - Truck is on
    - Electric seems fine
    - Gas pedal does nothing, almost as if it's in neutral. The truck will roll at a couple MPH whether you're on the pedal or not.
    - CEL has been on for years, so I don't know if there's a new code or not, but I can check on Monday.
    - Truck makes all kinds of noises, is tough to distinguish what's related or not. It does idle pretty loud.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

I mean at this point it could be literally ANYTHING due to the mileage and who knows why you are throwing codes.

Have you ever pulled the codes or taken it to an Autozone and they read them for you?

I don't think anyone can give you any help due to the broad nature of your situation.

Without knowing the codes, we can only guess.
Guessing is expensive and time consuming.

Let us know Monday. We will be happy to help once you get the codes.
