One of the reasons I bought new was because of the insanely high resale. I just didn't think used ones were reasonably priced. The other is because you just don't know what a previous owner ha done to a vehicle, and I don't trust peoples decision process anymore.

This is why I won't sell my 03'. I don't want someone to deal with the crazy shit I've done to it.

Just like a fastpass at a themepark, spend a little bit more money and it will take care of your inconvenience. Most likely the future owner of this truck doesnt want to have to deal with building his/her own.

I saw this on the TTE facebook page recently. It had the "spec sheet" if you will, showing they priced their lift package around $10k. I see things like this often, and two phrases come to mind when I see them:

"A sucker is born every day"

and "If you build it, they will come"

That is the truth! Same reason why I bought mine new, can't trust what previous owners claim to have done to their vehicle..I'd much rather pay for it new and start my own maintenance log for the vehicle.

The most offensive part in my opinion if the greasy Armor All smeared all over the interior.

The sale of that crap should be illegal.
