I'm having the body shop do an embedded "Tacomoa" on the tailgate. It's the new hot-shit

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
That would look great with chrome inserts!

I think it would look better with "Milano" red.

We try. The 3rd gen section though seems to always go to sh*t, I think its a lot of the new guys don't understand the sense of humor/sarcastic tone sometimes.

And exaggeration! If I've told you once, I've told you a million times, "don't exaggerate!".

    Oh wait... Was that sarcasm?

Thanks for all your input. And to answer your question, I love the truck. My only real annoyance right now is the hood issue.

mine has a slight weebly wobble, but I hardly notice it.

Is it really that bad? Or as bad as the Grand Canyon sized gap that forms at the back of the Sport hood scoop?

What does this "kit" include? I did a DIY fix, but it still has some flutter, and the only way I can see to mitigate it completely is by adding some extra bracing.

Mine was crazy bad before I siliconed it. It was so bad that I didn't even want to drive the truck....it's all I could look at. I thought the damn thing was going to fly off. It's 90% better now, but still annoys me.

It's the standard two part epoxy that is usually used to bond two metal parts.

You spread the un-connected connections and jam some epoxy in there, then let it cure.

Quick field fix: toyota FIPG. (Oil pan sealer)

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
...^^^... True ... That's kind of how I got here.

I was only a watcher before and in 2007 had a Tundra with a transmission out at 500 miles.

It was towed to the dealer and i continued on another Tundra website.

Then had some questions with a 2009 Tacoma and came to this place as a member in early 2009.

Not to go there but... The "Tacomoa" was 100% reliable for years, then they shifted production to the same assembly line as the problematic Tundra(Tundura?).. Now the Taco has issues?

Perhaps Southern California was better for vehicle production than Texas?..or Mexico?

    Nah. Just coincidence.

Well, fuck. I guess my adhesive application skills suck.

Edit: It was probably the coffee stirring wooden sticks where I fucked up...

Production doesn't have much to do with it, its the engineering.

Never said that. What I said and what is correct is that the three times listed as addressed concerns on the TSB are not related to AI, or what you call learning.
