If they don't start a case then Toyota wont know how wide spread the issue really is and if a Recall/Service Action should be issued

With that built date you should not have any problems!

With that said though, Toyota has to take all the BAD PR and try to recover from someone else's CRAP.

Love this comment Murrayb4, I'm a tech also not Toyota but a tech all the same. These freaking TPMS just made people lazy. The light comes on and they run to the dealer to have the tire pressure checked.

    None...yet!
Is it true with the Tacoma that you can air the tires down to say 20 psi and hit the reset button and that becomes the new warning level? Just reading the manual, it seems the TPMS threshold can be set by the user. If that's true, then TPMS is no longer the .gov pain in the ass it's always been. (I am doubting that this is the case though, even though the manual seems to say it is.)

Same here. Mostly city driving and it is definitely a huge improvement after the TSB was done. Totally different than before where it was always gear hunting.

After more driving on TSB it doesn't seem to have done shit for the uphill gear hunting. It's doesn't hunt in cruise though so that works.

The rumble strip vibration at 55 mph is likely the prop angle in relation to the rear diff.

Exactly. No one with a valid issue that comes here looking for a decent reply is
going to stick around for the ongoing bullshit that nearly every thread quickly
    turns into here.
