2022 15k miles SR5 Curious on opinions on this being totaled. I find it extremely hard to believe it isn’t but the body shop I’m using seems to think it may be able to be repaired and said “if it’s totaled we don’t get paid, we’re paid commission and we try to avoid totaling trucks to get paid”. Airbags did not deploy.
my big concern are the gremlins and ghost that may accompany the things intern damage /engine suspension or electrical

    Hope everyone is doing okay!
I believe it depends on the current value of the vehicle versus the cost to have the damages repaired.

Looks like the red vehicle came out of it way better than your truck.

Just me I’m fine. Sore but fine. I hit a Chevy blazer than decided to not yield to oncoming traffic as I was going through a green light and smashed into him. Just paid off. 22 Tacoma sr5. Would love the input from all of you guys! Thanks for the warm wishes!

It’s not up to them, it’s up to the adjuster.
If you want mostly WAGs,,, Wild Ass Guesses, include year and mileage.

Same. Has to be something with the bumper. That’s the only thing I can think.

Went straight into a Chevy blazer at 25-30. I’m alright as well.

I'm going to guess it was the red suv with the fender/door damage in the background.

    Glad everyone is unhurt.

They probably didn’t go off because that bumper transferred all the crash energy directly
    Into the frame

I think you’ll be on the cusp. If the frame is not damaged or can be repaired … they’ll fix it. If not it’s totalled

If the frame isn't bent it's not totaled.
Looks like it was hit high and most likely the reason bags didn't go off.

get a Carmax, Carvana and/or KBB quote and see what similar trucks are selling for
no fluids on the ground so that a pulse
new suspension and steering components, new skin
going to be close I think
