What happened to the truck??

 

That Cadillac rear ended the Honda Civic, made it hit the jersey barrier and it flipped on top of me when I was stopped (with traffic) on the freeway

I hope not, when Washington State Patrol did the phone interview on the events that unfolded and after it finished I asked the officer if the guy who was trapped in the Civic is doing okay.... of course HIPPA is very strong but he could tell me that he is still recovering - couldn't give me any more info besides that.

I felt so bad. The kid was very scared immediately after the accident. Of course the reckless uninsured motorist was perfectly fine. There were even people who stopped at the accident and said a few miles back he was driving like a jackass.

 

What about the bumper?

Insurance claiming the truck? Looks like a new bed and it'd be roadworthy again.
If I had money I'd have bought it lol I'd just flat bed it and turn it into my trail rig.

Yeah it was really only the bed.
I was getting an 02 Tacoma with less than 100k and have a motorcycle. Plus going from a home to an apartment. This just worked better for me

 

Damn I’m a little too late. I was willing to grab hood, headlights, etc for a front end conversion. Glad your ok though.

How long ago did they claim it? Might not be too late for a buy back... although I had a 2012 that got totaled in 2014 and the buyback was outrageous (I believe 6500, for a truck that had flipped).
I'm surprised they totaled it though, the bed cant be that expensive

Sorry about your truck, that honestly doesn’t look like it should be totaled. Especially being a fairly new 4x4 double cab, I can only guess there’s underlying frame or structural damage.
