^ their dancing is too 80s goth.
Some more modern "industrial dance" or "cybergoth" would be a better fit.

    part of my order arrived.
Just ordered 2 lights to see how narrow they would be. I like it. Should be nice under the roof rack. Tempted to put one in the bumper centered since I don't have a winch and it's such a nice fit.

Once the rest of my stuff gets here, I can check brightness and decide what others lengths to get.

guess it's time to cut a panel to mount those relays, breaker, and fusebox onto.

Still haven't decided about switches so don't have any yet.

So the original plan was to just mount these 8" light bars on the shell and if I liked them, get a longer one of same style for the front bumper...

Test fired them tonight and they are way beyond what I expected from such a small light. They are brighter than my headlights which are upgraded "+40%" bulbs.

New plan, maybe, if $$ is allowed :ballchain::
step 1: mount these 8" bars on front bumper at an angle matching the lines of my bumper below the headlights.
step 2: get either another pair of these or next size longer to go on shell facing out the sides as camp lights like I had originally planned.
step 3: get a 26" version of this light to go on center of front bumper.
step 3b?: a removable amber lens cover for the main center bar if one exists to fit it OR get yet another bar (21") to hang under the center hoop of the bumper and apply an amber film to its lens.

What do you guys think of putting the short bars under headlights? Too many bars? Too "bro"?

BTW, for temporary wiring to try things out, love these cam lock connectors. Much cleaner on the wire than wirenuts. Just unplugged my fogs and used some extra H11 connectors to plug wire leads into fog light socket. Easy plug & play on a switched & fused circuit to try things out before really running any wire. When done, just unplugged it and plugged my fogs back in like normal.

Yeah, not sure about that bumper placement. What about in the grill?? Or ditchlight brackets

I want the light to the side like a ditch light but not really a fan of the hood brackets. Not sure whether I like them on the bumper like this either though.

Ah found your build thread. Truck looks good. About hiding those new lights more in the corner under the bumper or wheel well area?

They would look good mounted inside the bumper on that corner flat piece though.

    headlights on vs headlights plus 1 single row 8" light bar. {light from bar isn't blue, just looks like it in the pic}
Mounting bar on shell angled forward causes glare in mirror so that's a no-go. For now, will stick with original plan of mounting these bars between shell roof and the roof-rack facing straight out to sides.
