Tri, it is even shorter than you think! La Costa to Rancho Santa Fe Rd. to San Marcos Blvd. to 78 east and the very next exit is Twin Oaks, north to the Deer Springs AM/PM... no need to go to Escondido on 78.

Oh btw I saw the Grabbers with Red Letters. That is one nice tire. James from The Truck Shop had them installed to test this weekend in the desert.

 

Ditto for me too (x3). I want to hit up that trail to. Looks like fun. Early on a Sun would be sweet so I can visit my folks in Valley Center.

We went back there yesterday (Sunday) and drove all the way from the AM/PM street to the Drug Airport, and back... 4.5 miles one way... and there are many side roads to explore. 4WD for sure or seriously modified Prerunner maybe.

A sunday funday run sounds fun

 

That one place we spotted each other climbing/ descending was the most difficult of any of the run to Panda Jerk's 'airport'... Once you are over that and down that steep hill... it is all fairly 'easy'... But, I saw many side roads and some deep rutted stuff I wouldn't drive over without another vehicle along... just in case!

 

ANyone want to hit up this trail this weekend? Let me know.

 

I'll be there with Paul. I have a 2x4 and wondering if it will make it. I have a spindle lift with 5100's some bigger tires and rock slider with a factory locker. I'll give it a shot but it does look a little rough. Really wish I got a 4x4. F it I'll still be there.

 

Matt, I will be going. I heard it might be tougher for 2wd, but paul said that it is do-able. He will lead you in the middle and I will follow. As long as you have 4x4s around you we can always tow you out if needed.

 

Gonna be fun!

 

I'll bring the tow rope you bring the 4x4. see you all in the am.
