    Mine already does.

Finally recovered from the mud run a week ago and getting back to my workouts tonight. A week of sloth does a body good, but any more of it and I'll start feeling tired from simply not doing anything. Looks like I've got some new exercises to add!

This was my first TM and now I'm hooked! It was closer to 13 miles from what I was told by a few people who had gps watches (and the guy at the finish line was saying 13 miles too). The first 6 miles was literally and uphill climb up the mountain. That was a bitch. And all of the down hill was steep with loose rock which got REALLY old after several miles. People were flying down it though, which seems pretty stupid to me!

Had a huge team but stuck with a core group of about 6 for the duration. We took our time and ended up waiting for a couple stragglers a bunch of times along the way and it ended up taking 6 hours! I think my group could have shaved off at least an hour and a half if we didn't slow or wait up for the slower people (not that 4.5 or 5 hours is a stellar time anyway! Haha) also, there was a major jam at the half pipe. That was at least 30 min worth of down time. They need a bigger one! Speaking of gnarly, a cago next strung across two poles about 8-10 feet in the air was one of the obstacles. You had to climb up and over.... It snapped while people were on it prior to my group getting there! Sent a few people to the hospital, one by life flight (dislocated shoulder I think). They decided not to put it back up haha.

I will be pre- registering for next years norcal event!!!

Good luck to anyone who's event is coming up!!

Did it this past weekend on saturday, have a few pics to share. Got lucky, they cancelled the one on sunday but those that missed out get to go to the one in january on the texas coast. It was a little over 12 miles, 29 obstacles. Going to pre register for the one in Austin in Novemeber 2012.

I guess because it was raining too much. Go figure. We have been in a drought for the past year. I would have been pissed waiting all this time to do it and then they cancel.

too much rain??? that would just make the course better! it's already wet and muddy anyways... jeez.

that seems like a pretty lame reason to cancel the sunday event. at least you got to do it

I think I have a friend driving down for it and I may do it as well if I can hitch a ride.

Ive also been mulling over the idea of trying to set up something similar around here and have all proceeds go to the wounded warrior project.

We are currently working/planning/ and setting up a zombie crawl/5k and it will be through our down town streets and alleys:D should be fun. survivors vs. zombies. the survivors get a 1 min head start.
