TOUGH MUDDER!!!

Yea he's doing the CO mudder. He's been doing Crossfit for over 4 years now, prior service (Airborne Ranger). I think he's fine, I know he can kick my ass at a lot of things lol!

the course really wasnt all that hard... the cold made it way harder than it would have been otherwise

 

Was the shock pit after the water? Any issues from that, I know water and electricity don't like to mix lol

 

for us the shock pit was the very last obstacle... the finish line was about 30 feet after we finished it

but we were running through water the whole time we were getting shocked

Dang. lol I hate to say this but your team mate has a DERRR look on his face! I can't wait to run my own! I'll have to check out goruck and see if they do any Denver challenges, might be fun!

we all got hit at least 3 or 4 times.

goruck has 2 CO events in about 2 weeks... i know it's soon, but you're in shape. you'd be fine... it's so much more mental than physical

Wish I could...I'll have to see what my school schedule is like, being the academy, class is mandatory, and its on the weekend lol. So if there is a break in class that weekend, I'll make plans! If not, ugh...

 

yeah man... having a life outside the academy is gonna be hard haha

what academy are you doing? is it a general academy to get a PD job after or do you already have a PD job lined up?

 

Its just a general one, evenings Tues-Thurs and Sat/Sun. I can apply while I'm still taking the classes and I get state certified once I get done..but yea, life is gonna suck being as its weekends. There are 2 agencies that I will for sure apply to while I'm in, and I'll look around more once I get down there and get involved and start to meet and talk to officers and people.

Yea I've thought about that...its an option if I don't get into a force in CO is get into SF somewhere..I'll be under the age cut off at least! lol
