I've removed and installed a lot of automotive decals. The TRD bedside decals were one of the worst yet. The adhesive layer under the vinyl is no joke.
Goo gone and adhesive remover just laughed at it.
    Eraser wheel struggled too.
Ended up wiping with alcohol, wheeling about 1/4". Re-wiped edge with alcohol, repeat.
Looks good, but took almost an hour.
If you’re going to remove the decals, be prepared. Not something you’re going to be able to do efficiently without some equipment.

Hair dryer (not a heat gun unless you are skilled) to start, followed by Mineral Spirits, and *maybe* a plastic razor if you are the gentle type.

Work small areas at a time.

Yep, didn't mention that, but I did use heat gun at first when trying to peel the decal. Heat softened it up, but they two layers still ended up peeling apart. Really wish I could have gotten the top layer to pull the bottom layer with it.

Mine came right off flawlessly in 1 piece with just a nice long slow cook in the california hot sun...
If they didnt pick right off, I waited longer until the were fall off the bone, butter tender...
The extended heat bakes into the metal & really softens the glue.
YOU DONT WANT TO HEAT THE STICKER, YOU WANT TO HEAT THE METAL PANEL!!!
    Thats what releases the glue.
People will talk shit & say I got lucky, I beg to differ...
I experienced the JB weld adhesion, I know it wasnt time to attempt & let it go longer.
I used zero equipment other than the sun.
    just saying....

Everyone botched their trd sticker removal on their 24's, while mine came right off...
Wait for a hot day & let the hood bake in the sun majority of the day...
When it has peaked & the metal of the hood in nice & baked, then go for it with the help of a blow dryer or heat gun if needed.
If the corner doesnt Easily start peeling up, its not ready...
That was key, everyone else, picked & picked, I was able to pull my stickers in one piece cuz I waited & knew what I was looking for & doing...

ILL SAY IT AGAIN DONT DO ANYTHING TILL THE PANELS HAS BAKED IN THE HOT SUN FOR HOURS...
    THAT IS KEY
    NICE HOT 85-90+ DEGREE DAY...

I know, not everyone knows where this post is as they would have tried my method prior, if your in an area where its hot!
Most guys, I dont want to work in the hot sun & attempt in the garage where their tools are....
Was the easiest job every for me....

The glue adhesion on the sun visors were another story....
I should have waited for a hotter day, close to peak heat vs later in the day.
They came off but it was work, some of the outer material pulled away from the inner construction.

Man that sounds nice. It's like decal porn at this point.

Stoners who is known for their window cleaner also makes a product that is safe on your paint, but removes sticker goo really fast

I’ve had good results with it
