Hardest stuff I've every used was Duplicolors Wheel paint and Rustoliums Hammer Tone.

It's less Tacoma and more mod

Man, it is near impossible to separate a Rust-o-Leum self etching primer from a Rust-o-Leum paint. I painted my skids (3 coats of each with no clear coat) with it and it has held up to the Pacific Northwests' battering.

I'm always painting one thing or another but this time my inquiry was for the clutch and stator cover on a dirtbike, I believe they are made out of magnesium.

I would paint it with Hi Temp Rustoleum or a specific paint they use for brake calipers.
