This little app is free (or paid but free is pretty dang good considering) with a reader ( a good one is $20 off ebay) it gives you gauges like air temp - intake temp, exhaust temp, mgps, ect, as well as the ability to read and reset codes.

It's not spelled tourque even in Canada :)

I haven't messed with it in a while but I'm pretty sure you can configure the units to be appropriate.

You can set it to US. I use it as a code reader but I wasn't as impressed with the MPG readings. Really hard to calibrate the fuel usage on it unless you make sure you have it with you every single time you use the vehicle. I like my ultraguage a lot better.

Torque is a dignostic tool, primarily. It is more for multiple vehicles, and low volume garages. In this application, it works well.
Comparing it to an ultragauge is like comparing a smartphone GPS to an in-dash unit.

I just checked and yes, you can set it to US units, but there's a note that says: "Displays will only change to your newly selected units when they receive fresh data from the sensor they monitor."

The fuel economy/consumption stuff never really worked for me, even when I used it constantly. Could have been my calibration efforts, but it was always obviously wrong.

It's still pretty cool for what it does, but I got tired of having to plug the BT/OBD2 thing in and set up the phone holder whenever I wanted to use it. For full time monitoring, the Ultragauge is probably a better choice.

Ive had Torque for about 6 months now. Love it. Spent a total of 25 bucks between the obdII sensor and app. Set it all up in US units. Custom layouts. Mpgs. Avg MPG. HP. Torque. 0-60 times. MAF readings. Intake temp. Etc etc. Highly recommend it.

Pic of my layout on my Note 2. Its not connected obviously. When it is. . It shows all the readings.

I like it. I've use it to check mpg's a few times it seems to be pretty close to my figures. I like having the ability to see what the truck is doing. I grew up with cars with gauges for everything not stupid lights. Even had a few with the fancy high beam switch on the floor and i'm only 31.
